3) Provision of exam-oriented lessons which will focus on the following elements:
- Vocabulary acquisition and implementation in exam tasks
- Grammatical awareness, understanding and targeted use in written and spoken papers
- Speaking exam preparation in line with the requirements of the exam board
- Written exam grade boosting strategies in order to provide students with the tools to maximise their marks in the writing paper
- Listening and Reading exam practice using exam materials from the relevant examination board

These are run in the same way as the GCSE classes with the emphasis placed upon the development of the linguistic skills required at advanced level. The key elements of our approach are:
- to enable students to bridge the gap between their GCSE learning and the rigours of the A Level course (the initial free meeting will help to establish the student's individual requirements)
- to support individual student's grammatical understanding so that they can apply their knowledge to the syntactical requirements of the language
- to provide clear frameworks of understanding to A Level topics such as the media and the environment
- to improve exam technique in all skill areas in order to optimise overall performance
